The plan was to go to the Rec Center and climb after work yesterday. A week ago, Morgantown was shut down from an overnight snow storm, and the days were an hour shorter. This week we gained an hour of daylight! Yesterday, it was pleasantly warm by contrast to days of late, but most importantly the rocks were dry.
With the road into Coopers Rock closed until April 1st, Tara, Brian and I went to a more local spot with a few nice sandstone boulders.
…it’s climbing season!
Things you find on a walk in the woods..
No, it’s boating season!
Here are a few shots of our friend Garret practicing a paddleless role, and a back deck role (i think that’s what he called it).
After wrapping up at the rec, a few of us went down to 123 Pleasant Street for a night cap and some music from The FoxHunt, and Signs & Wonders.
It’s amazing how many awesome things you can do in just one day..
